About St Mark's

East window

St Mark's is an inclusive Church of England parish church serving the Bromley South area. St Mark's has a strong liturgical and choral tradition, and is open to all.

The main act of worship at St Mark's is the Parish Eucharist, which is at 10am every Sunday, with other services and events held throughout the week and on a monthly basis.

Music has been at the heart of worship at St Mark's for many years. The St Mark's choir sings for the weekly Parish Eucharists, as well as the monthly Evensong service (on the last Sunday of the month during term time). St Mark's also has a choral scholar programme that has the aim of offering young people opportunities to participate actively in worship, gaining knowledge, repertoire, and skills to benefit their future.

St Mark's church has close links to the local Church Schools, both St Mark's CE Primary School and Bishop Justus Church of England Secondary School, which are both part of the Aquinas Trust. The clergy team take part and lead worship in both schools, as well as hosting end of term services in the church for St Mark's Primary School.

St Mark's Church is a place where many big life events happen, from baptisms to funerals and everything in between. More information on these are available in in the Life events section.
