First Communions

The historic patterns of initiation for any individual into the Church of England has traditionally been to follow the pattern of baptism, followed by confirmation before Holy Communion can be received. The Church of England recognises that for some though, whether it is for young people who are mature in their faith but not yet confirmed, or for baptised adults who were not confirmed and yet would like to receive the sacrament this traditional pattern is not always appropriate.

If you would like to explore the possibility of receiving Holy Communion before confirmation, wither for yourself or for someone in your care, please contact the vicar (vicarstmarksbr2@gmail.com), the curate (curatestmarksbr2@gmail.com), or use the contact us function here.
